    The mission of the NPRC, directed by a 13-member Board of Directors is to build demand and secure the long-term viability of the industry. The Council is committed to a long-term marketing program based on consistent messaging and nutrition research that will result in measurable demand growth for frozen raspberries.

    Research priorities where raspberries habe been shown to habe a competitive advantage include General Chronic inflammation, diabètes (including metabolic syndrome), Cognitive Function/Motor Skills, and Cardiovascular Diseases. The Council has also funded studies inother areas where raspberries have demonstrated efficacy.
